Every year, for 11 years now, our 'A Night at the Races' event has been our chief "fun"draiser. Long-time patrons of C.A.M.P., and those new to our mission, gather for a night of giving, facilitated by auction, raffles, drawings, and faux-horse race betting. 2020 was scheduled to be our 10th Anniversary shindig, and was painfully canceled in the wake of the virus crisis. As 2021 dawned, C.A.M.P., like thousands of other non-profits wondered what to do for our signature gala. To NOT host it would be fatal to the mission and all of our clients that rely on our essential service. Ultimately we chose a hybrid-virtual gala format that outpaced our goals for such a novel event. We are continually grateful for the participation and giving of all Friends of C.A.M.P. and look forward to planning on-and-offline fun for folks to join our cause in the future.
